SYDNEY, 27th April, 2015 - Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia enjoyed the company’s busiest ever Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo which was held in Melbourne from April 16 to 18.

The 2015 AAA Expo saw the debut of a brand new Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia stand that showcased the company’s innovative aftermarket products from its four globally renowned brands, LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville.

The Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia stand proved to be highly popular with automotive technicians, re-sellers and distributors with interactivity taking place throughout the three days of Australia’s biggest automotive aftermarket trade fair.

Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia technical specialists provided visitors with the opportunity to take part in an INA Overrunning Alternator Pulley (OAP) removal and replacement competition. This involved an alternator being mounted on the stand with an INA OAP fitted. Visitors were then shown how easy fitment and removal is using a Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket special tool before enabling them to try it themselves. “It is clear that Australian automotive repairers are seeking the most advanced replacement products and tools in order to become more productive. We congratulate the winners of our INA OAP competition and welcome all repairers who would like more information about our product range to contact us anytime,” Ian Payne, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia Manager - Automotive added.

The customer interactivity continued on the Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia stand with practical on site demonstrations of the benefits of fitting INA Overrunning Alternator Pulleys, along with detailed demonstrations of the LuK RepSet 2CT repair solution for dry double clutch systems.

These demonstrations took place each hour and attracted significant interest as Australian repairers seek to learn more about professional replacement of worn double clutch systems fitted as original equipment to vehicles on Australia’s roads.

Along with these demonstrations, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia’s senior management, sales and training personnel were on hand throughout the AAA Expo, providing expert advice on the company’s innovative automotive aftermarket products.

LuK Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) technology was also showcased at the AAA Expo, with specially produced cut-away DMF examples on display. These precision manufactured examples highlighted the significant technology behind the design of all LuK DMF products. They visualised the importance of exact DMF replacement for vehicles that have these special harmonic and engine vibration absorbing flywheels specified as Original Equipment.

According to Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia Manager - Automotive, Ian Payne, “The 2015 AAA Expo was a major success for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Australia. The number of trade and distributor visitors that we welcomed on the stand, along with the many automotive technicians who took part in our frequent technical demonstrations, kept us very busy throughout the three days.”
