FAG continued it expansion plan to open a new office in New Zealand with warehouse facilities located in Penrose, an industrial area in the city of Auckland, southeast of the city centre.

INA Australia won an order to supply Hydraulic Lash Adjusters, and Rocker Arm cam roller bearings to Ford Australia for the Falcon SOHC engine.
1987
CBC sold their share in INA Bearings Australia to INA Germany and INA Bearings Australia Pty Ltd became fully owned by INA Germany. The company opened a new office within CBC Kingsgrove.
1988
INA relocated to leased premises in South Hurstville, a regional centre located just 15 kilometres to the south west of Sydney’s CBD.
1988
Weber Group (CBC family) bought Saeco Bearings and Transmission in New Zealand. INA Australia began to supply Saeco Bearings, to expand business within the New Zealand market.
