HMZ locknuts
HMZ locknuts allow precise and secure axial location of bearings on the shaft and are already in use in a large number of wind turbines.
- No retention groove on the shaft required (no notch effect, higher strength, reduced costs)
- Simplified mounting as fitting of the retaining element is no longer required
- Secure retention due to axial clamping screws
- Bearings can be locked in any axial position
- Full interchangeability with conventional locknuts
